DUSHANBE, August 31, 2010, Asia-Plus -- Tajik hummer thrower Dilshod Nazarov won bronze medal in the 12th round of an international athletics tournament in Rieti (Italy), which is now part of the IAAF (International Associations of Athletics Federations) World Challenge, according the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Tajikistan.
On August 29, Dilshod Nazarov finished third in men’s hummer throw competition with a 78.34 meter throw, the source said.
We will recall Dilshod Nazarov has won three gold medals in international athletics tournaments this year.
He won his first gold medal this year last May in Brazil. The competition was part of the GP Caixa/Unifor de Atletismo Series, the source noted. Nazarov won his second gold medal at the international athletics tournament, Moscow Open-2010, on June 29, 2010. Dilshod Nazarov won his third gold medal this year, finishing first in a hummer throwing at the 10th stage of the IAAF World Challenge in Spain Last July. In Spain, Dilshod Nazarov threw the hummer 78.49 meters, which is his new personal best.
