KULOB, December 7, Asia-Plus - Vose authorities have launched a project in the Pakhtakor jamoat for rehabilitation of the healthcare systems to combat tuberculosis in the district.
Vose chairman Alamurod Taghoymurodov told Asia-Plus that the project designed for two years is funded from the country’s budget. “A total project cost is 4.4 million somonis; we have to date received the first 65,000 somonis,” Taghoymurodov said.
According to him, it is not the only large project being implemented in Vose. “Projects for rehabilitation of the sewage disposal facilities, irrigation canals and other water supply facilities are expected to have been implemented in the district by 2010,” the Vose head said, adding that nearly US$14 million will be provided for these projects via the planning unit of the Ministry of Land Reclamation and Water Resources.
