DUSHANBE, March 1, 2013, Asia-Plus -- The procurement department at the Dushanbe mayor’s office has announced an open contest to select the best designer for an unfinished water park in the Tajik capital.
April 6 is the deadline for lodging applications for participation in the contest and the competition commission will consider them on April 7.
A source at the Dushanbe mayor’s office says the mayor’s office concluded a contract on construction of the Water Park in Dushanbe with Turkey’s Emek Project Limited in 2004, but the company stopped the construction work in mid-2004, pleading force majeure and did not fulfill its obligations on the contract.
