Russian air carrier, Nordwind Airlines, has launched flights on a new air route from Russia to Tajikistan.

Beginning on December 15, Nordwind Airlines will operate the flight Yekaterinburg-Bokhtar-Yekaterinburg using Boeing 737-800, says the press center of Yekaterinburg International Airport Koltsovo.  It will be once-weekly service on Wednesdays.

Currently, three flights are operated from the Koltsovo Airport to Tajikistan: Dushanbe; Khujand; and Kulob.

Currently, a ticket for the flight from Yekaterinburg to Bokhtar costs 15,000 Russian Rubles, and a ticket for flight from Bokhtar to Yekaterinburg costs 12,494 Russian Rubles.  ”The introduction of the rate is connected with a seasonal decrease in passenger traffic from Yekaterinburg to Bokhtar and seasonal increase in passenger traffic from Bokhtar to Yekaterinburg.
