DUSHANBE, August 5, 2014, Asia-Plus – The bodies of two residents of Khorog, the capital of the Gorno Badakhshan Autonomous Region (GBAO), with bullet wounds were found in Khorog’s Newodak area today early morning. The bodies were found in a car belonging to one of them, according to the Ministry of Interior (MoI)
An official source at a MoI says the bodies were identified as cousins Sayod Okhonqadamov, 24, from Khorog’s UPD neighborhood and Daler Khoushdilov, 25, from Khorog’s Barkhorog neighborhood.
“They were shot by unidentified assailants,” said the source. “A special group comprising representatives of local police and prosecutor’s office has been set up to investigate this crime.”
According to him, Okhonqadamov and Khoushdilov had nothing to do with local organized crime groups and did not participate in violences that took place in Khorog in August 2012 and May 2014.
