DUSHANBE, March 11, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Lieutenant E.N., an officer from one of military units of the Ministry of Defense (MoD) deployed in the northern Isfara district, faces charge of theft.
According to the Interior Ministry, the Isfara police department on March 10 received an application from local woman Z.H., 48, who says that unknown person entered her house on March 7 and stole two gold rings and a gold chain for a total amount of 1,500 somoni.
“Investigation has established that the theft was committed by Lieutenant E.H., 23, who lodges at her house,” the source said.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against E.N. and an investigation is under way.
