The Chairman of the upper house of the Parliament of Tajikistan, the Mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali went on an official visit to the People's Republic of China.
According to the press service of the chamber, representatives of the government, parliament, ministries and business accompany him on the trip.
The visit took place at the invitation of the Chinese side, and will last until August 23.
Today, on August 21, Rustam Emomali laid a wreath at the monument "National Heroes" on Tiananmen Square in Beijing as a sign of respect for the history and culture of China.
Then he visited the Museum of the History of the Communist Party of China and got acquainted with samples of historical exhibits and documents.
The museum began its activity in 2021, it exhibits more than 2,500 photographs, 3,500 historical documents, acts and other exhibits.
Other details of the visit program are not reported.
China is one of the main business partners of Tajikistan, which invests in various sectors of the republic - from energy to mining and road construction.
