DUSHANBE, March 9, 2011, Asia-Plus -- On Tuesday March 8, Officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) stopped an attempt of smuggling heroin to Moscow by air.
According to the DCA press service, an inspection of passengers on the Dushanbe-Moscow flight found a package of narcotic drug that tested positive to heroin weighing more than 300 grams in a suitcase belonging to Khorog resident.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the detained drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
