DUSHNBE, October 21, 2013 Asia-Plus - A bear has attacked a teenager in the Rasht district (eastern Tajikistan).
According to the Interior Ministry’s website, the incident took place near the village of Kalnazar.
“The bear killed a dog of a 15-year-old Abdujabbor Jamolov who was gathering nuts not far from his village and then serious injured the teenager himself,” said the source. “Fortunately, Abdujabbor managed to escape. He is currently undergoing medical treatment in the Rasht central district hospital.”
