DUSAHNBE, June 14, Asia-Plus -- The first joint Tajik-Turkish exhibition of applied arts opened at the Turkish Embassy in Dushanbe today.
According to information from the Turkish Embassy in Dushanbe, best samples of needle-work, including table-cloths, coverlets, toys, as well as ceramics and various samples of handicraft will be put on display in the exhibition, which will last for a week. Ten works by Tajik painters and works of three skilled craftswomen from Turkey will be displayed in the fair, according to the source.
