DUSHANBE, July 12, Asia-Plus -- The “Poitakht-80” (Amphitheatre) State Culture Complex has started regularly functioning in Dushanbe.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, has told Asia-Plus that the now becomes the main place for holding cultural events and various conferences and meetings.
According to him, a city festival of singers and musical groups is supposed to be held in the “Poitakht-80” State Culture Complex on Friday July 14. This event is dedicated to the 15 th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence, mayoral spokesman said.
We will recall that the amphitheatre with a seating capacity of 1,500 was built in 2005 on occasion of the 80 th anniversary of the establishment of Dushanbe. It is one of the main cultural facilities in the Tajik capital.
