Second international festival of folk music “Falak” starts in Kulob

, July 17, Asia-Plus - The second international festival of folk music entitled “Falak” started in the Tajik southern city o Kulob today. The festival runs through July 20.
According to information from the Ministry of Culture, representatives from
Tajikistan
,
Afghanistan
,
India
,
Iran
and
Uzbekistan
are taking part in this festival. The source says participants in the festival are also expected to hold meetings with local population on the sidelines of the festival.
A roundtable meeting with participation of art critics and the festival participants will be held in Kulob on the last day of the festival, July 20.
The first international festival “Falak” was held in
Dushanbe
in 2004.
