DUSHANBE , September 7, Asia-Pus - An exhibition of works by the well-known Tajik painter Sabzali Sharipov opened at the Abulqosim Lohuti National Dramatic Theatre in Dushanbe September 7.
Abdughaffor Abdujabborov, the head of the office of the Tajik minister of culture, told Asia-Plus that the first visitors of the exhibition were participants of the Sixth Forum of Tajiks and Persian-speaking Peoples. He said 16 of Sharipov’s works are displayed in the under the theme “Daybreak.”
The canvases, including portraits and landscapes, reflect the social life of Tajikistan . This exhibition is a continuation of the painter’s work entitled “Black and White.”
In addition, a book exhibition dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Tajikistan opened at the National Firdavsi Library in Dushanbe yesterday.
