DUSHANBE, February 14, Asia-Plus -- The fourth round of Iran''s Movie Week opened at Dom Kino (Cinema House) in Dushanbe on February 12.
The event was staged by Iran’s Cultural Center in Dushanbe in cooperation with Tajikistan Tajikistan’s Youth League.
Head of the Dushanbe Dom Kino Safar Haqdodov said that demonstrated movies tell life and activity of Iranian youth.
Referring to the features of Iranian movies and cinema, Haqdodov noted that Iran has made great progress in the field of film production, attracting attention on the international scene. He added that Tajik people are familiar with Iranian cinema
According to him, acceptance of Iranian movies by various film festivals all over the world and the awards granted to them show the remarkable advancement in the sector.
The Week of Iranian Movies in Dushanbe runs through February 17.
