KHOROG, July 15, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Funds of the GBAO regional library have been replenished with nearly 4,000 new books, the GBAO regional library head Alidod Charoghabdolov said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, the books donated to the library by the Ministry of Culture (MoC) were delivered to the region by participants of the action entitled “Caravan of Books” on July 14. The donation includes scientific, popular science books and fictions, the library director said.
Charoghabdolov noted that funds of all libraries in Gorno Badakhshan currently exceed more than 100,000 books.
