DUSHANBE, September 17, 2008, Asia-Plus -- An exhibition of works by Tajik painter Ilyos Mamadjonov opened in the office of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in Dushanbe on September 15.
According to the SDC office, the exhibition that runs through October 15 is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day except Saturdays and Sundays.
Ilyos''s works have been exposed on different national and international exhibitions and can also be found in private collections in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, France, Turkey, USA, UK, CIS member states and many other countries.
Ilyos Mamadjonov was born in 1977 in Kanibodom, Sughd province. After graduation from the Tajik State Art College named after M. Olimov (1993 - 1997) he studied at the Tajik State Institute of Art named after M. Tursunzoda (1997 - 2002).
