DUSHANBE, October 25, 2008, Asia-Plus – Internationally-renowned singer and operatic baritone, Muslim Magomayev, died at 66 years in Moscow on Saturday, his widow, famous opera singer Tamara Sinyavskay, has told Itar-Tass.
Magomayev died after a long illness in his Moscow flat at 6:00 in the morning.
Russian President Dmitry Medevedev expressed deep condolences over Magomayev’s death to his wife and family members.
