According to the UNFPA Dushanbe office, the meeting is supposed to consider the main results of activities of the UNFPA in the republic and factors promoting the implementation of the program as well as factors that hampered the introduction of it.
“The meeting is aiming to consider issues related to seeking solution to problems facing the introduction of the program as well as plan of actions for future,” the source said.
The source also noted that partners that have directly participated in the implementation of the country program – representatives from the commission for population under the Tajik government, foreign assistance coordination unit within the president’s executive office, the ministries of education and health, committees for statistics and religious affairs, as well as a number of higher educational institutions and NGOs – would be invited to attend the meeting.
