DUSHANBE, May 24, Asia-Plus - There are 159 inmates per each 100,000 people in Tajikistan, the Azerbaijani APA news agency reports referring to the latest statistics provided by the International Center for Penitentiary Studies.

Russia

Belarus
top the CIS in terms of number of inmates. In these countries, there are 532 convicts per each 100,000 people.
