DUSHANBE, December 22, Asia-Plus - Tajikistan’s Customs Service has provided humanitarian aid to an orphanage in the Nurobod district in Rasht Valley (eastern Tajikistan).
A source at the customs service said that the aid including food products and New year’s presents worth totaling 1,500 somonis were distributed to the orphanage today on occasion of the upcoming New Year’s and Idi Qurbon holidays.
According to the source, the country’s customs service sponsors to the Nurobod orphanage and boarding school # 4 in Dushanbe, providing food support and repairs to the them. “On December 28, a similar aid worth 1,550 somonis will be distributed to boarding school # 4 in Dushanbe as well,” the source noted.
