DUSHANBE, November 6, Asia-Plus  -- Tajikistan is marking today the 13th anniversary of the adoption of the country’s Constitution that launched the presidential form of ruling.

In his message of congratulations, President Emomali Rahmon stressed that “the constitution is a passport of each independent people and a school-leaving certificate of a free and independent state.”  The Tajik leader said that the basic law of the state created the possibility “to build a legal and political system, became a firm foundation for the development of the state, its socio-economic and socio-political progress.”

November 6, is a day-off in Tajikistan. Mass gatherings, fairs of farm produce and performances of well-known artists have been held in big parks of Dushanbe and other cities of the country.
