A regional conference of human rights defenders has started its work in Naryn today, the Kyrgyz Ombudsman’s press service reported.
The conference will discuss actual issues of protecting the rights and freedom of human beings. Ombudsman Tursunbek Akun, representatives of civic sector, political parties and authorities are participating in the conference’s works. Besides, human rights defenders from Bishkek are expected to meet with local population.
