Kyrgyzstan’s inflation growth rates remain one of the highest in CIS, the Intergovernmental Statistics Committee of the Commonwealth reported.
The Kyrgyzstan’s consumer price index hit 26.6 percent in first seven months of 2008, as compared to the sane indices last year. This way Kyrgyzstan is second after Tajikistan (29.8 percent) in appreciation of living. The average CIS consumer price index hit 17 percent in 2008.
The lowest inflation growth rate was registered in Armenia (9.2 percent).
