Mayor of Bishkek Nariman Tuleev signed a resolution on granting a right to some categories of citizens to travel at municipal transport of the capital.
The resolution is accepted in order to implement the president’s instructions within the framework of conducting a month of elderly people and with a purpose of accessibility of public passenger transport for some categories of citizens, living in Bishkek.
Thus, according to the resolution, pensioners, invalids (I, II, III groups), handicapped persons from birth, pupils of Bishkek would have a right to travel free of charge at municipal transports starting from October 1, 2008.
