- “Economic growth will be equal almost 5% for the end of 2008,” Nursultan Nazarbaev, Kazakh President said at yesterday’s meeting with heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Kazakhstan.
“We expect that economic growth level will make up 5% and unemployment rate will not exceed 7%,” Nazarbaev noted.
According to Kazakh leader, total volume of international reserves and National Fund assets also keeps high rates.
Budget deficit remains at a low level that is equal to 2.1% from GDP. It is very important for Kazakh 15-million-population. According to Kazakh President, all these indicators are factors of national economy safety.
