Yedil Mamytbekov, Kazakh Industry and Trade Vice Minister met with Mir Muhammad Amin Farhang, Afghan Commerce and Industry Minister.
Within the meeting topical trade and economic cooperation issues between Kazakhstan and Afghanistan were talked over. “Afghan Minister of Commerce and Industry asked Kazakhstan to render assistance in supply of grain, diesel fuel, and gasoline. He thanked country’s leadership for humanitarian help,” Mamytbekov said.
According to Vice Minister, he informed Minister about Action Plan on assistance to Afghanistan for 2009-2011, which consists of 30 items.
“We planned visit of Afghan businessmen to Kazakhstan,” Mamytbekov said.
“Afghan side is interested in Kazakh investments. Afghan Commerce and Industry Minister noted Nursultan Nazarbaev, Kazakh President role in policy he implements and attention he pays to Afghanistan,” Vice Minister added.
