By tentative estimations, GDP growth in Kazakhstan exceeded 3 % in 2008. Karim Masimov, Kazakh Prime Minister informed about this Nursultan Nazarbaev, Kazakh President yesterday during the meeting in Almaty, the agency reports citing the president''s press service.
According to the press service, Nazarbaev listened to the report of Government and National Bank on the main results of the work in 2008 and on the forecasted tendencies of social and economic development for 2009. Masimov informed that by tentative estimations, GDP growth exceeded 3 %, inflation was equal to 9.5 %, republican and local budgets were executed - income part by 99.5 % and expenditure part by 99 %.
All social obligations of the state in 2008 were realized.
