Kyrgyzstan’s gas tariffs have doubled since January 1, 2009, the Kyrgyzgas director Salamat Aitikeev told reporters in Bishkek, Friday, January 9.
The tariffs will be composed of the following constituencies.
For houses and apartments with gas meters installed the gas tariff will make KGS13.52 per 1m3.
For houses and apartments without gas meters:
- Users of gas ovens and permanent hot water supply – KGS135.23 a month per each resident;
- Users of gas oven, without permanent hot water supply – KGS189.33 a month per each resident;
- For gas dispenser users – KGS148.76 a month per each resident;
- For gas use for individual house heating – KGS108.19 a month per 1m2 during the heating period.
For the southern regions of Kyrgyzstan:
For houses and apartments with gas meters installed the gas tariff will make KGS12.92 per 1m3.
For houses and apartments without gas meters:
- Users of gas ovens and permanent hot water supply – KGS 129.20 a month per each resident;
- Users of gas oven, without permanent hot water supply – KGS 180.88 a month per each resident;
- For gas dispenser users – KGS 142.12 a month per each resident;
- For gas use for individual house heating – KGS 103.36 a month per 1m2 during the heating period.
As it was earlier reported in 2009 Uzbekistan raised gas price for Kyrgyzstan to USD240 per 1000m3, when in 2008 we paid KGS7.5 per 1 cubic meter of gas.
