The deputies of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan on Thursday passed the amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Public Procurement.
"The main objective of these amendments is to improve the legislation of Kazakhstan on public procurement by making it more transparent and efficient via development of electronic public purchases and removal of contradictions, flaws, and the norms that allow corruption to prosper revealed in the legal practice," Finance Minister of Kazakhstan Bolat Zhamishev explained.
