Kazakh Deputy Defense Minister Bulat Sembinov discussed implementation of plan of cooperation between the Dazakh and US Defense Departments with General Duncan McNabb, Commander of the U.S. Transportation Command, in Astana, press service of the Ministry of Defense reported.
"The first plan has been successfully implemented in 2008. We have singed plan of cooperation for 2008-2012 in February 2008. Kazakh-US cooperation in the sphere of defense and safety significantly improved," Sembinov highlighted at the meeting.
He noted that the USA and Kazakhstan have the same goal - to strengthen cooperation through dialogue and enhance military cooperation.
