Housing prices at secondary housing market in April increased by 0.6%, Agency on Statistics of Kazakhstan reported.

Prices for housing without modern conveniences have increased by 0.2% in April 2009 compared to March 2009, rent of housing with modern conveniences decreased by 0.8%.

New housing sales decreased by 3.7% in April 2009 compared to December 2008, resale of well-furnished housing fell by 0.9%, housing without modern conveniences by 0.3%, rent of well furnished housing by 3%.

New housing sales decreased by 10% in April 2009 compared to April 2008, resale of well-furnished housing fell by 15.8%, housing without modern conveniences by 10.8%, rent of well furnished housing by 1.5%.

Prices for new housing in April amounted to 142.063 thousand KZT per 1 sq.m., resale of well-furnished housing 107,015 thousand KZT, housing without modern conveniences - 62.240 thousand KZT, rent of well furnished housing - 816 KZT.
