Luminous road markings sprang up on the roadway of one of Ashgabat''s central avenues - Turkmenistan Bitarap (Neutral Turkmenistan). Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with these and many other innovations, introduced as part of the program for development of road transport infrastructure of Ashgabat, at the end of last week.
Having approved the innovation, which is designed to ensure road safety and, at the same time, become a showy complement to evening appearance of the city, the Turkmen leader ordered that the practice of road markings should be expanded. In the short term, these original markings will appear on two major avenues of Ashgabat - Turkmenbashi and Galkynysh (Renaissance).
