At a government meeting on June 12, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov reported on preparations for an official visit to Turkmenistan by President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
The visit of the Belarusian leader is scheduled for 17-19 June, the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat.
After hearing the report and having emphasized that Belarus was the traditional longstanding partner of Turkmenistan, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that there was great potential and prospects for the full-scale development of cooperation between the two countries.
