On July 17, within the framework of his visit to Balkan province, Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sailed along the Caspian Sea coast, during which he examined the progress of construction and development of the tourist zone "Avaza".
At the pier, the head of state boarded a new sport boat capable of making up to 200 km per hour. Heading the boat into the sea, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov tested the boat''s running qualities.
On its way, the boat moored to the side of "Galkynysh" yacht built on the order of Turkmenistan at the shipyards of Italy. On board a sea liner, the president was welcomed by the chairman of the Majlis and deputy prime ministers of Turkmenistan.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov then examined the coast from the yacht and acquainted with the progress of development of "Avaza".
