President Nursultan Nazarbaev and advisor to the Russian President Victor Chernomyrdin discussed questions of cooperation between the CIS countries, reported the President''s press service.
"Widening of Kazakh-Russian cooperation, relations with CIS countries, particularly, in integration organizations were discussed during this meeting," reported the press service.
Nazarbaev noticed that Kazakhstan pays a particular attention to increasing effectiveness of the Commonwealth. The provisions on national coordinators, the chairmanship in CIS and the range of other documents were approved in 2008.
The advisor to the President of Russia admired paces of construction of Astana. "I was in Astana 12 years ago. If I were not told that it is Astana, I would never recognize it.
