Uzbekistan resumes full gas supply to all regions of Kyrgyzstan, director of the Kyrgyzgas Company Salamat Aitikeev told 24.kg Thursday morning.
Aitikeev left for Tashkent Wednesday to bargain with the neighbors about possible continuation of gas relations between the two countries.
Earlier, official Tashkent had refused any talks with Kyrgyzstan and cut off supplies to the South Kyrgyzstan.
As of October 14 2009, Kyrgyzstan paid off only $4.6 million of its $19 million debt, but Aitikeev reportedly persuaded the Uzbeks to resume gas supply to Kyrgyzstan and lift all the restrictions.
