New frontier post "Yashlyk" (Youth) of Kaahka border unit was inaugurated in Akhal province of Turkmenistan on October 20. The frontier post has service and social facilities. The ceremony was attended by the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

As the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat, the head of state saw the latest models of hardware, weapons and equipment, as well as demonstrations of border guards. Turkmen President thanked soldiers for high combat performance and praised their skills and dexterity.

During the frontier post tour, the Turkmen leader examined a house for four families. Then the President proceeded to the dining room where he shared a meal with border guards. In the end of the tour, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was photographed with border guards at their request.
