The IV specialized exhibition of goods of the Islamic Republic of Iran opened at the Exhibition Palace in Ashgabat on November 2. The exhibition was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Turkmenistan and the International exhibition company "Mashhad". A high-profile delegation composed of more than 120 companies and firms of Iran arrived in the Turkmen capital to participate in the exhibition.
In the course of three days, representatives of ministries and business circles of Turkmenistan will be able to get acquainted with the industrial, economic and investment potential of the regions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and discuss with Iranian counterparts prospects for expanding the effective partnership.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a welcome message to the guests and participants of the exhibition. In his message, which was published in the central press of Turkmenistan, the president noted that the friendly relations between the Turkmen and Iranian peoples entered a new phase of development and gained new meaning. The head of state expressed confidence that the exhibition would be of great importance for the further expansion of cooperation between the Turkmen and Iranian specialists, and identification of areas where the implementation of projects for economic cooperation would continue.
