At least 442 public schools in the regions of Kyrgyzstan have been quarantined over the flu virus, the Kyrgyz Education Ministry reported.
Following the minister’s order 442 schools and 3 pre-school educational centers were put in cold and virus diseases quarantine in order all preventive measures could be taken.
In the city of Osh 56 schools remain in quarantine till December 3, 2009. In Chui oblast 55 schools are closed, in Jalalabad – 68, in Talas – 101, in Naryn – 67, in Issyk-Kul – 92. No schools were quarantined in Osh.
Meantime, in Bishkek all schools have resumed studies today.
