The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov has stated that Uzbekistan will continue to maintain a foreign policy of not joining any military-political blocs.
In statement delivered at the UN General Assembly in New York, Kamilov noted on September 24 that Uzbekistan will continue to maintain the policy of not joining any military-political block and prevent the deployment of military bases and facilities of other states on its territory», according to Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency.
Uzbek foreign minister reportedly further added that Uzbekistan would remain committed to all its commitments within the framework of the concluded international treaties and multilateral and bilateral agreements.
