The Tajik Football Championship has risen to a new level. According to the reputable Transfermarkt portal, the country's top league entered the top twenty most expensive football tournaments in Asia, taking 20th place with a total market value of 22.03 million euros.

For comparison, at the top of the ranking is the Saudi Pro League, where the market value of the players exceeds 1 billion euros. The Qatar Stars League is in second place (362 million), and the UAE Elite Pro League closes the top three (358 million). The Japanese J-League 1 ranks fourth (298 million), and the Chinese Super League ranks fifth (138 million).

The Iranian Pro League (125.88 million, 7th place) and the Uzbek Super League (87.66 million, 8th place) are above Tajikistan. But the leagues of such countries as Myanmar, Fiji, Laos and the Philippines have already been left behind. For example, the total cost of the Myanmar National League clubs is 17.27 million euros, while the Fiji Premier League is only 17 million euros.

Thus, the Tajik championship is confidently staying in the top 20 most expensive leagues in Asia, overtaking a number of tournaments from Southeast Asia and Oceania, and is gradually strengthening its position in the continent's football rankings.
