KULOB, January 30, Asia-Plus -- Fifty residents of Kulob aged 23 to 57 have submitted applications for joining the organization of ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDPT) for Kulob.
Deputy head of the executive committee of the PDPT organization for the city of Kulob, Hamro Bozorov, remarked this in his interview with Asia-Plus following the executive committee board’s meeting that was held in Kulob on January 28. According to him, of those having submitted applications, some 30 passed an examination and were admitted to the party.
“Including these 30 people, a total number of members of the PDPT organization for the city of Kulob has reached 1,420 people,” said the Asia-Plus interlocutor, “Of them, more than 300 are farmers, 200 are workers, and 100 are students at local higher educational institutions.”
