According to information from presidential press service, since the “Energy Resource” company is engaged in implementation of energy projects the prime minister offered a number of priorities and main directions of mutually beneficial cooperation in the area of energy.
For his part, the “Mycroft Tobacco Holding Ltd” top manager noted that in the course of the talks that their company was engaged in growing tobacco in eleven African countries in a total area of 200,000 hectares as well as processing of tobacco and production of high-grade tobacco output. Mr. Mick Hovercroft offered cooperation with Tajik farmers on planting and processing tobacco. He noted that the company was ready to invest 18 million U.S. dollars in this project.
The sides agreed to study this issue and after that it is planned to launch a joint venture on processing tobacco.
