DUSAHNBE, April 13, Asia-Plus - A roundtable meeting with participation of Tajik and Kazakh bankers will be held in Dushanbe from April 25-26.  

            According to information from the Kazakh Embassy in Dushanbe , Kazakh side will be represented at the meeting, in particular, by Zeynulla Kakimzhanov, chairman of board of the joint-stock company “ Kazakhstan ’s Investment Fund” and top managers of the joint-stock companies “Turan Alem Bank” and “National Insurance Corporation on Insuring Export Loans and Investments”.    

A two-day meeting is aiming to consider issues related to expansion of cooperation between banks of the two countries.  During their stay in Tajikistan Kazakh bakers intend to study banking sector of Tajikistan .  

According to the source, Kazakhstan to date tops the CIS in number of banks.  They are represented in Russia , Georgia and Kyrgyzstan and for being represented in Tajikistan they need to study Tajikistan ’s banking structure and strengthen necessary ties, the source said.
