DUSAHNBE, April 27, Asia-Plus -- Some 200,000 Tajik labor migrants are currently working in
Kazakhstan
, Kazakh Ambassador to Tajikistan Yerlan Abildayev announced at a news conference in
Dushanbe
on April 27.
According to him, four government-to-government agreements, including an agreement on labor migration, are supposed to be signed during official visit of Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov to
Kazakhstan
.
“Singing of the labor migration agreement will be of great importance, first of all, for
Tajikistan
itself,” said Kazakh diplomat, “Activities of labor migrations should be regulated because many of them are working in
Kazakhstan
illegally.” Labor migrants also will get benefit from this agreement, according to Mr. Abildayev.
“At present
Kazakhstan
rapidly developing construction and production has needs in additional labor resources” Kazakh Ambassador noted.
