Tajikistan ready to supply some 180,000 of early potatoes and onions to Russia

Tajikistan
is ready to supply vegetable and fruit products to the
Russian Federation
by the end of this month, according to information from the Ministry of Agriculture.
The source says the
Russian Federation
intends to double imports of vegetable and fruit products from the Central Asian region, including
Tajikistan
, this year.
“Taking into account that we plan to produce more than 200,000 tons of early potatoes this year, we are able to export some 80,000 of early potatoes to the Russian Federation,” said the source, “Besides, we can supply some 100,000-120,000 tons of onions as well as to double fruit and vegetable supplies to Russia during this year.”
