DUSAHNBE, August 12, Asia-Plus -- Tajikistan’s State Committee for Statistics expects that the seven-millionth resident of Tajikistan will be born on August 13 in Dushanbe.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, has told Asia-Plus that Dushanbe Mayor, Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, Friday [August 11] passed a resolution, under which the seven-millionth resident of Tajikistan would receive apartment in Dushanbe free of charge. The passed resolution obligates the housing department of the Dushanbe mayor’s office to provide an apartment and write out an authorization to the apartment to name of the baby’s mother.
Besides, the mayor’s office will prepare a special gift for the baby that will receive a special birth certificate, according to mayoral spokesman.
