DUSHANBE, December 12, Asia-Plus - More than 10 issues were discussed at the 27 th session of the council of the CIS highways administrations that was held in Brest, Belarus, last week.
Robiyamo Zavqiyeva, head of the highways department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, told Asia-Plus that the Brest meeting had discussed issues related to implementation of five joint plans on extending access roads to borders of contiguous states, program of actions on improving bridges, etc. The meeting adopted appropriate resolutions on the discussed issues, according to Zavqiyeva.
Established on December 1992, the council of the CIS highways administrations holds its sessions twice a year.
