DUSHANBE, August 16, Asia-Plus-- Addressing the seventh summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), that opened in Bishkek today, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon has offered setting up the SCO Development Fund, Abdufattoh Sharifzoda, a spokesman for the Tajik president, reported from Bishkek.  

President Rahmon noted that harmonious socioeconomic development of member nations of the Organization is the priority of the SCO.  According to him, the fund dedicated to efficiently use investment potentials of the most developed member nations for implementation of projects to support other participating countries could promote further socioeconomic development of the SCO member nations.  

Rahmon noted that many-sided economic cooperation between the Co member nations is continuing to dynamically develop and expressed hope that the SCO Interbank Association will play essential role in launching the main projects.
