DUSHANBE, October 18, Asia-Plus -- Officers from the Hissor police directorate have discovered a large arms cache arranged on the 6th kilometer of the road from Sharora to the Hissor administrative center, Asia-Plus has learned at the Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The source at a MoI said that two grenade launchers, 7 grenades F-1, 11 grenades RGD-5, 5 sub-machine-guns Kalashnikov, and more than 6,000 bullets of different caliber had been extracted from the hide.
In all, Tajik police have discovered and confiscated 1,193 firearms over the first nine months of this year. The totaled included 305 sub-machine-guns Kalashnikov, 165 pistols, 228 carbines, 414 hunting guns, etc.
